Solotober 2025
/ 2 min read
Games have been a big part of my personality lately. I’ve bought a few. I’ve played a lot. Games have been a great hobby to get into. I recently heard about Solotober and wanted to particpate. Solotober is a low key challenge to play a solo / one-player board game each day in October. I had been wanting to play more solo games, so the timing is perfect!
I plan on keeping it low key. 31 different solo games feels like a lot so I’m keeping my goals for the month loose.
By the end of October I want to:
- Play at least one solo game that I haven’t played before
- Play a solo variant of a game that I’ve already played multiplayer
- Play at least one PnP
- Play in real life as much as possible
I know I have a backlog of game I’ve been meaning to play, have downloaded but not printed, etc so it shouldn’t be hard finding new content for at least the first week.
Anyway, if you like solo gaming, considering following the Solotober 2025 Geeklist and chiming in with what you’ve played. I’ll be tracking my progress in this post and will likely do a recap at the end of the month.
